Cancellation policy

What happens to your payment if your plans change.

How to cancel

Email shorttermlettings@tishansoft.co.uk from the address you booked with, giving your name and arrival date. Your cancellation takes effect when we receive it, and the notice period is counted back from your arrival date.

Refunds for the price of your stay

This covers the accommodation, cleaning fee and any pet charges you paid.

Your security deposit

If you cancel before your stay, the refundable security deposit of £250 is always returned to you in full.

When you get your money back

We refund to the card you paid with, normally within 5 working days of agreeing your cancellation. After that, your bank may take 5 to 10 working days to show it.

If we have to cancel

If we cancel your booking, or cannot provide the cottage for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of everything you paid, including the security deposit.

Changing your dates

We will try to move your booking to other dates, subject to availability. Moves requested 28 days or more before arrival are free of charge, although any difference in price will apply. We cannot promise to move a booking that is less than 28 days away.

Please consider insurance

We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, for example if you or someone in your party is ill. Our policy above applies whatever the reason for cancelling.

Your cancellation rights

Because your booking is for accommodation on specific dates, the 14-day cancellation period that normally applies to online purchases does not apply. This policy applies instead. It does not affect your other legal rights.
